It is no more and no less difficult than any of the others that you name.
Each has its own unique requirements. The main thing on the clarinet is
that it DOES NOT jump by octaves when you press the register key. Instead
it jumps by a 12th. This can be a bit confusing for people who play
recorder, flute, oboe, or sax. So I hope you picked up a beginning clarinet
book while you were at it.
