Subject: Key Platings
Hi everyone,
Thanks for those who responded to my question. About the nickel
plated E11, I was surprised as well, when I saw that most E11 offered in
the US are silver plated. I got mine about 6 years ago in Malaysia from a
dealer. Back in those days, I don't have much choice of picking and
selecting a clarinet there. I'm not sure about now though. It is
interesting though, I certainly did not specially ordered a nickel plated
ones, but the dealer may have been. I will look up the serial number so we
can all 'ponder' about it! :)
Soo

E-11 went to silver keys standard 3-4 years ago. All were nickel before that.
