Also, what year is your E-11. I'm a recent Buffet convert, and find it
strange that an E-11 is in nickelplate. Since the E series is made in
Germany, they are all silverplated now as a standard and only option. Were
they nickelplate in the past? and if so, how long ago?

HI,

If I can I would like to answer this question, you are still abble to have an
E11 nickel plating but it is a special order. We then send the keys to be
nickel plated at our factory in france and send back the key to Germany to
have the finishing job done. It takes time because we wait for a lot of
request before we do this operation.
