:true? I've found one that I really like and it is a nickel plated one. I
:was wondering if anyone have gotten their instrument's keys replated? Is
:it expensive? I would certainly prefer a silver plated ones as they are
:less 'slippery'. Is there any other solution anyone can think of? I
:welcome any opinion on my question.

Which R-13 have you tried? Most are offered in silver plating (of course at
an additional charge). And, if you can, then try to get some silver plate
ones to try. Or, if that is inconvenient, order through WW/BW, and try them
out that way.

I really can't think of any other ways to do this. Are nickel plated keys
that much of a hassle? You can always plate them later if they are too much
of an inconvenience (and personally, I enjoy nickel plated keys. They don't
make my fingers stick as much to the keys and that's really good when I am
playing fast.)
