The larger the reed the more adjusting it requires - bass reeds take a lot
of adjusting, contra reeds take me weeks to perfect. clarinet reeds, two
or three days on the tough ones, but usually one or two days, about five
minutes a day. I haven't had enough experience with eefer to say for
sure, but since the reed is considerably smaller, there would be
considerably less warpage to sand away...
