Actually, there are at least two American editions. One was published about
1960-62, edited and arranged by Glenn Cliff Bainum. Bainum added antiphonal
brass fanfares in the trio, which are very effective but which were not part of
the original composition by Hansen. There is a more recent American edition that
stays closer to the original, but I don't recall the name of the editor or
arranger.

The opening theme is supposed to be based on a bugle call for a particular
regiment or other unit of the Norwegian armed forces.
