I played Grease way back in my high school days. We used a
very small 5 piece combo (keys, guitar, bass, drums, & T. Sax).
I don't know if that was a scaled down score. I also recall that
the band was actually a part of one or two scenes so we played
on stage behind a scrim (lifted for the scene(s)) and we had to
wear appropriate costumes. What a gas!
