I like Baermann 3 (probably because I'm an old stick-in-the-mud!). I work
the first section of scales backwards from eb minor and at an "awkward"
tempo (circa 100-104) every day. Sometimes if I have time, I then switch
to my A and play them again from the top. Anything to confuse the
fingers/brain!

I also must have a masochistic streak because I like the first of the
Stark Arpeggio studies (and I make that one hard for myself too!) Have
you tried that book yet? Some good stuff, makes a change.
