Subj: [kl] Klarinet Archives are now available on CDROM

I bought the CD-ROM burner & made a master of the Archives, so ...

A CD-ROM of the Klarinet Archives current to 2 days back is now
available. The cost is $6.00 US including shipping & handling in the US,
$7.00 US in Canada and Mexico. Shipments to other countries are
significantly more - probably around $10.00 or so, not including any tax
or duty owed.

The CD-ROM is not "closed", meaning that it can be updated later with
current information or other information as it is made public on the
Sneezy site (maybe scanned manuscripts as they become available). You
won't save a lot (the media cost is about $2.00 for "the good stuff")
but at least it'd be on the same CD.

If you'd like to order one just send your name & address to:
cdrom@-----.org

I'll bill you _after_ it goes out in the mail (just in case I get behind
in getting the things created & mailed).

FYI - the material/fixed cost breakdown:
Media :~2.00
Bubble envelope:~0.40
Postage : 1.24 (US)
Labor (my kid) : 1.00
---------------------
~4.64

The extra 1.36/CD will go towards miscellaneous expenses (CD-ROMs that
don't pass read tests, etc.)

The CD-ROMs don't have a label on them (sorry, Mitch!) because a CD-ROM
labeler costs $40.00, and the labels themselves are pretty expensive. We
can probably do without for now :^) Rectangular labels are not
recommended for CD-ROMs - they have a tendency to come loose and jam up
your CD-ROM player, something I don't think you'd like!
