Subject: Re: [kl] Weber Concerto number 2
I am currently working on the Weber 2nd, for (hopefully) a performance in
1999.
I have 2 questions:
1. Who's recording is the definitive performance? (I can't WAIT to hear the
answers to this one).
2. Does anyone have MIDI files for the accompaniment?
Thanks in advance. I'll appreciate any help/sugestions I get.

P.S. My hate is off to David Blumberg, Oliver Seely, and others who have made
many MIDI files available. Truly a service to the clarinet community.

Thanks WG, I assume that the P.S. was supposed to read "hat". ;)
Oliver Seely was arranging midi eons before I even had a computer. Him, and
George Klimowicz are the ones to really get the applause for Clarinet Midi.
I corrected the file for the Schumann Fantasy Pieces, it was titled 3rd
mvt, but the 1st mvt is the one on the page. I also updated that file to a
more musical version (the old one was really quite bad).
