While rummaging thru some old odds and ends, I came across a ligature that I
have had in my possession for many years. It is an old metal ligature, screws
on the reed side, and with B & H cut into the metal on the other side of the
ligature.

Well, I slipped it on my mouthpiece and started to play. To my utter
surprise...it is Excellent! It helps produce a full, not-buzzy, sound that
seems to project to the last row of seats in our concert hall.

Can anyone shed any light on this ligature? I assume the B & H means Boosey &
Hawkes.
