Klarinet Archive - Posting 000999.txt from 1998/10

Subj: [kl] Sneezy II update

The Pledge drive went significantly over the top:
5171.77 pledged, and 3578.77 collected. The latest pledges:
James D. Lytthans, Jim Harper, Gene Nibbelin, and Legere Reeds, Ltd.

I believe I've acknowledged every check received so far - but there's a
chance that I didn't tick off your name on the Pledge board. If you've
made a pledge, see if you can get over to www.sneezy.org/Pledge.html and
make sure that your name shows that the check arrived. If I messed up,
please let me know & I';ll straighten it out.

Sneezy II is humming right along, no major problems except for trying to
get freeWAIS-sf running; it has a number of major bugs. Therefore, I'll
probably be switching the search engine for the Klarinet Archives over
to WebGlimpse. That should be better (or friendlier, anyway) than the
current WAIS engine. I'm not sure _what_ I'm going to do about the
composition and discography data files; I was hoping to use the
structured fields section of freeWAIS-sf to make them more easily
searchable.

Back to the drawing board, I guess. I'll figure out something :^)
