WELCOME and welcome back to the clarinet. I had a 23+ year hiatus myself.

For the order of flats, use the circle of 5ths

B E A D G C F

key of F, 1 flat and that is B flat
key of Bb, 2 flats and they are Bb and Eb
key of Eb, 3 flats and they are Bb, Eb, & Ab
etc.
(i.e. key name is the letter before last flat in the list)

For sharps, run the circle in reverse

key of G, 1 sharp and that is F
Key of D, 2 sharps and they are F and C
key of A, 3 sharps and they are F, C, & G
(i.e. key name is the last sharp plus 1/2 step on the scale)
