Dear All,

About Guy Chaddash and Jimmy Yen, I know both of them and I have the chance to
see Guy often since he is close to Buffet ( Barrels). I talk here on a
personnal side I cannot hear or read thigs like Guy is not a good repair
personne and Jimmy Yen is the best. Compare Comparable, every thing is not
only about pads. Let me tell you that I travelled all around your beautiful
contry lats year and this year and met a lot of repairpersons and musician.
They have all different opinions when you talk about padding and set up for
the clarinet and other Instrument. I trust Guy Chaddash like if that was my
work and HE KNOWS about accoustic and what is going on a clarinet. And it is
what he does the most accoustical work, If he doesn't know he will not touch.
As far as I know and I have seen the work of both of the Gentlemen you name
Jimmy Yen is not the best he just do different thing on a clarinet wich is
exclusivly pads and that's all. Guy does more accoustic and do also pads.
Please have your own judgment and again compare person who are comparable on
the service they can provide you. You have other repair people I am sure in
New york who are not as known as Guy and Jimmy and that will help you with
repair. If you want accoustic then Guy is the one in new York for me, if you
don't like him then it is a personnal feeling it has nothing to do with the
competances. If any one decide to do any changes or accoustical work on his
Buffet clarinet, I will be pease to discuss about it with him.

Musically Yours
