I am guessing that you mean the B that is the second space above the staff
to the C# that is one step above.

In that case, the "burp" that you mention happens to be a chronic problem
when going from the clarion register or chalumeau register to the altissimo
register, particularly the C# and D. These two are the mathematical 5th
harmonic of the fundamental and seem to be particularly sensitive, although
the Eb, E, F, F# can also be problematical. For F and F# there is a long of
improvement when other fingerings are used that cause them to sound as a
different harmonic.

The "burp" goes away with time and practice. Embouchure is absolute
critical on jumps to these notes and of course breath support is also
significant.
