Donna _ can't help you really - I play in a clarinet choir in Manchester (we
are awful) and have joined a local swing band which is OK (they don't mind
an overdose of clarinets) - but all this is amateur stuff and you might be a
lot better than we are in our groups in Manchester - other than that , it's
the orchestras...
Cheers

Subject: [kl] Music in the UK
Hi all,
I am afraid that this message is aimed specifically at the UK
clarinettists, and especially at those from the midlands.
I live in Worcester, and would love to play in some sort of group
(orchestra, wind band, anything), but have only so far managed to find 2
groups in the area - both of whom only need 2 clarinets (surprise
surprise). Does any one know of any groups that may be looking for
someone? (I don't mean children's groups, as I am 28!)
Many thanks in advance.
Donna Abrahams
