If you can't get ahold of any, last year I had a someone here in
Kandern make
a few sets out of brass for me and my pupils etc. I still have a couple
sets
left. They are excellant quality and will not rust. Thicknesses are: 1,
1.5, 2
and 3 mm. (four rings). They fit most French clarinets between barrel
and upper joint. Unfortunately, the
factory where he worked went broke so I will be at a fix again next time
I need
some. I've been reselling them for DM 10 / Set (current rate USD 16.50).
If
you're interested, I can give you the exact measurements.

On the other hand, Malaysia is famous for making all sorts of things
which we
*could* be produced here in industrial countries. Why don't you ask
around
there like I did here?
