I was waiting a bit for one of our members who wrote to me saying he'd
pledge and take it over $4000.00 - but he forgot to say how much he was
pledging :^)

But ... a couple of unannounced pledges came in the mail today, taking
us over the $4000.00 mark!

The latest pledges are from:
Richard J. Hays, Laroy Borchert, Sean Tan, Randolf Keller, David Mack
Endres, James Sclater, Carol LeNestour, and 2 (currently) Anonymous
pledges.

Drum roll please ...
The pledge drive now stands at ...
$4068.00!

I think we just might make it. With only $932 to go - and I get to
finish assembling the giant erector set sitting half assembled in my
room at home.

The boss has donated a large format color scanner (slow but serviceable)
to the cause. If anyone has manuscripts or publications that are legally
scannable (either the copyright has expired or the composer/printer has
granted permission for their copying _in writing_) and is willing to
trust them to the postal system, please contact me.
