The New York Times today reviewed a concert of chamber music played
by orchestra members of the Met. Morales played the Mozart
clarinet/viola/piano trio and was said to have executed with a
"casual beauty." Considering the things I have heard him play, it
is a apt statement. The beauty of his playing is enhanced by
its apparent casualness, or perhaps effortlessness is a more
accurate description.

But he still needs to have a B-flat clarinet with a low D for the
next bout of performances of Titus.
