Recently, I became interested in cork pads, so as an experiment, I have
replaced all the pads on the upper joint of an older B&H Emporer Bb clarinet
with cork. Now I am doing almost all my practice on that instrument to see
how the cork pads settle in and last.

I found that getting some of the cork pads to seal was more difficult than
with bladder pads, and even now, the result is not totally satisfactory
(although the overall improvement from the old badly-worn pads is dramatic).

I'd be very interested in hearing others' experiences with cork.
