Just thought I'd bring up that two new high-end musical notation
programs, oriented at "classical" musicians rather than pop/jazz,
are coming out Very Soon Now.

Sibelius, http://www.sibelius.com, has actually been available for
Acorn computers for some time. A Windows version is supposedly
available in the UK already, and is to be available this week in the
U.S.

Igor, http://www.igortech.pi.se/igor should be available for Mac in
November. New.

Rumoured price for both is US$ 600; don't know about eduactional
pricing.
