I've listened to both Meyer's recordings and (IMHO), they do not compare to
Jonathan Cohler's Stravinsky. Sabine Meyer's slow movement is too straight,
fast, and boring for my taste. I did like Paul Meyer's playing, but too small
of a sound and a massive air leak. Cohler maintained a perfect balance
throughout and made the last two movements sound easy. A few years ago, I
happened to catch a concert in the Boston area that featured Cohler playing
the Three Pieces. It was incredible - his live performance was near perfect,
and sounded better than any recording of the piece I had heard (except his
own).

Jonathan, if you are still on the list, I'm curious as to how many takes it
took to record the Stravinsky Three Pieces. Did you record each movement or
sections of each?
