Michal,
I had carpal tunnel in both wrists and had the surgery to correct it, at
different times of course. The surgery was simple, and I have very little
scaring on the palm of my hand that just looks like the normal lines on ones
palm. The recovery time was approximately 6 weeks each time. I recommend it to
any one with carpal tunnel, the arm braces did nothing for me. They were even
the big ones that go up to your elbow. It has been 6 years since my first
surgery and I have not had one minute's trouble with it since! I went to a
plastic surgeon, it was recommend by my doctor because they do a better job
keeping the scars to a minimum. Good luck~
