What a great idea!

The L.A. Sax Company will re-laquer any brass instrument with
any desired color for a fee. You have to strip the instrument
of all hardware first (keys, levers, etc.). You've no doubt
seen some of the strangely colored saxophones out there.

They list $400 as the price for coloring a soprano sax. I imagine
that a metal clarinet would run about the same.
