Thanks for the Tch. clarifications.
Wow! Had no idea the stories were that grim! We
just performed Tch.5 in SantaFe with Raymond
Harvey (Dir. of Fresno Phil.) and I was amazed at
the depth he was able to achieve with our orchestra.
(Anyone on the list from Fresno?)

Tch.'s low writing for clarinets in that symphony
(especially the opening!) is gorgeous!
BTW, Nutcraker is done around here in Nov.,
definitely have a case of "Tch. on the mind...."
