I don't think you can give a fair comparison period. Marching band has its
pros and cons, as does every genre of music. I love watching drum core and
I have great admiration at those who can be musical while running around a
football field. To say there is absolutely no musicianship in marching,
especially at that level, is untrue!
A clarinet quartet doesn't have the depth of an orchestra so why listen to
that then?
