I agree with this 100%! I really disliked marching band, and I think the
reason for that was all we did was one show the entire year. It gets pretty
boring going from set to set repeatedly when all you are doing is the SAME
THING time and time again! I can understand that directors must strive for
perfection, but I think that learning more than one show actually makes kids
better marchers in general because it gives them more experience doing a
variety of moves, musical numbers, etc.

Marching is a great experience for the first couple of weeks, but after
things start to get repetitive I find that I lose interest.
