David Adlam asked about thumb rests for clarinet. I've found you can make
a very comfortable thumbrest from a piece of automotive fuel line (rubber
hose), cut to about 1" long, and slipped over the existing stock thumb
rest. Doesn't look like much, but it sure is comfortable!
