Re Ray Wheeler:

I just got off the phone, having spoken to Mr.Wheeler. I asked him
specifically about the effects of the X-ray thing he did years ago, and
he said that nothing has happened in that regard.
He's had a heart bypass but otherwise is OK.

I know him from quite a few years and was even supposed to go visit him
in Ellensburg, Washington. There was a snow storm and we were turned
back from going up to the mountains where Ellensburg is.

I was interested in his article and the article by Anfinson. Both of
them have the same content:
Where the tongue is at any given time. Actually, the position of the
tongue or rather the shape of it while you are playing.

I always thought that his remarks made sense and I still do. Those who
have not gone through the X-ray bit are just imagining what they think
the tongue is doing. I won't go into here but I have to read it again
and write a short article about what he did say.
Since I've read his article and have even seen the film, I practice that
way and use exercises that help bring about the positionand shape of the
tongue he talks about.
