Can anyone tell me how to interpret a notation that I have never seen
before that has come up in a band piece by Gillingham?

It is four-sixteenth notes (f,e,a g#)with a slash diagonally through the
lines with a trill indication (squiggly line) following it. Does this
mean to continue the pattern of notes, or trill. My director doesn't
seem to know.

TIA,
Deborah
