Hello,

It very well may have been a big fat can of worms, but I've
*really*enjoyed reading the opinions about the best clarinet. The folks
who take the time to write thoughtful, reasoned, articulate answers are
especially appreciated (but I like the smart-alecky ones, too!).

The only clarinets sold in this area are Selmer (I play a series 10, c.
1965) and Yamaha; and the pro, top of the line instruments are not
available unless specially ordered from the local dealers. I have yet to
have the opportunity to play a LeBlanc or a Rossi, although I've tried
various Buffets and Yamahas. I have to thank the Montana-Idaho Clarinet
Festival for this; it's nice to know that the horn my teacher picked out
for me oh-so-many years ago is one that pleases me when compared to these
others!

Thanks!

Marcia
