Funny thing is - I personally endorse Buffet without trashing other brands
(except in the case of LeBlancs basses ^_^ ), but I don't know who the two
Buffet players in the CSO are. I know who Combs and Yeh are, though.
Know why? Because we get this:
"Combs plays a LeBlanc! Wow!"
"Yeh plays a Yamaha! Ooh!"

Ever hear ANYONE say "Smith plays a Buffet! Cool!" I've yet to see that,
and I think it's because up until 1990ish or so, it was a given that most
professionals played Buffets, I guess. I mean, hey, I could be wrong, but
I just saw a whole post on pros who use Selmers, and I've seen similar
posts for LeBlanc and Yamaha in the past. Never for Buffet, though. Go
fig. ^_^

(Out of curiousity - what does Sabine Meyer play? Dave Shifrin?)
