I use almond oil as suggested by my local repairer. It is readily =
available and a small bottle lasts a very long time. A common feather =
(clean) also makes an ideal applicator although the pads need to be =
covered (cigarette papers are adequate) to prevent them being oiled too.

Subject: [kl] oil?

Can someone suggest a good, high-quality brand of bore oil?
I think my A clar has needed some for a while now...

Is there something I can prepare at home?
help?

(i've only seen the commercially available stuff "woodwind bore oil", by
whatever manufacturer and I've never used any of that stuff yet on =
either
of my R13's.)

p.s. I live in Canada (windsor, ont.) we have the same weather as =
Detroit,
MI: very hot, humid summers, and moderately cold (i hope) and dry =
(though
not Alberta-dry) winters.
