there was a grrreat program on PBS about three years ago on the Nature series
called "tree of music" and it was all about the Mpingo tree, which is what
"grenadilla" wood is. It is grown in Kenya, (if i remember correctly) and ..
well anyway, it was great. My husband taped it and we have a copy of it here.
If you want to know the ins and outs of clarinet making as it relates to just
the wood, this is the video for you.
