You are probably right. You'd be surprised how much different I come
across in real life vs. how I write. Much less forceful. But I think
several misunderstandings are going on at once.

I AM convinced that my understanding of the bore diameter thing was likely
in error, due to bad information given to me over my OWN objections about
the old physics experiment (in other words, I DO agree with Dee at least
that far). But that leaves me without a valid explanation, and I am not
comfortable with the air temperature differential one. That's why I
continue to probe. I do not understand the mechanics of that theory.

Like other people on the list, I am here to learn and, where possible, help
others to learn. I'm sorry if I come on a bit strong sometimes, but I am
after the same thing you are.
