I've also seen this sort of thing done in treble recorders with Bluetack
which is cheap, effective, easy to mould and easy to remove. It might work
well in a mouthpiece too! However, cleaning the MP might be difficult as the
Bluetack is quite soft. What about experimenting with Bluetack then using
wax when you have got the shape right?
