Subj: [kl] Orange Peels (related to the swab discussion)
Date: Thu, 17 Sep 1998 02:09:08 -0400

With all the recent discussion about swabs and care of your horns, I went to
the WW/BW 's catalog.

They stated that putting orange peels in your case might help. Though I am
not sure how it will help and in what way, if they really do, I might try
that...

Also, in regards to the shove-it's, I have noticed that there are red and
white fibers sticking to toneholes, and have since stopped keeping the shove
its permanently in the horn. I have also resumed swabbing, but are there
ways to get that fiber our without having to disassemble or harm the
instrument? (some are in very inconvenient areas.)
