Something I mentioned a long time ago:
If you buy your clarinet with certain credit cards they will double the
warrantee period for free. In the case of my credit card vendor, no
registration or anything like that is required - just the receipt. I
called them when a bought a pair of clarinets last year just to double
check and make sure cracking was covered. In the case of my vendors, if
the clarinet cracks while it's under their warrantee and the crack can't
be repaired they will replace the entire clarinet, not just the joint
that cracked.
