The conductor of the EPSO, Gurer Aykal, who is Turkish by birth with
advanced training in Germany and Russia wants 442. And he can tell the
difference. His ear is almost scary type of perfect pitch. That, along
with his complete knowledge of the scores, usually make for productive and
interesting rehearsals
