Swabbing out a clarinet is better than using "shove its." "Shove its" are left
in the bore of the clarinet, and allows the moisture to remain, and possibly
allow for mold or other bacterial growth. Swabbing out the instrument takes out
much of the moisture, and allows air to circulate through the bore to dry it.
