Hello everybody!

Just thought I'd introduce myself since I'm new to this mailing list.

My name is Julian, I'm 17 and I live in Sweden. I've been playing the
clarinet for 8 years now, but I'm not very advanced. When I started
playing it wasn't really that serious... I've gotten more serious
about my playing in the last few years and I'm getting better, but I'm
still quite slow. I'm working on it... :-)

Currently I'm working on Mozart's kv.622 (that should give you some
idea of my level).

BTW I was wondering if anyone could give me any tips about what you
can do about the *hissing* sound on e1 (forefinger and thumb; I don't
know if e1 is a correct form in English...). All other notes sound
quite good, but this one... I can't get that warm tone I want when I
play it. I hope you could understand what I mean. Any suggestions
other than to continue practicing?

Thanks for your time!

/Julian
