Perhaps having to put up with all those STRING players is wearing you out!
:-) I should think that, for ANY wind player, band would be MUCH more
demanding. Even if you assume that the orchestra playing is more INTENSE
for a shorter duration, I still think longer-term playing would take more
out of the chops. Or build them UP more so you can handle it. Maybe the
orchestra playing is making you lazy?
