Subject: Stamitz clarinet quartets
Hi, can someone help me?
I need to choose one (or two) clarinet quartets by Stamitz for a
programme, and don't have time to get hold of and choose the best
one(s).
There are three op 19 and one op 8 (I think).
Which is the best?

I found an

Op. 8 #1 in D Maj.

and a # 4 in E flat major as being the more available recordings

of Carl Stamitz (1745 - 1801)

One way to maybe check the internet under recordings and see which one is the
most recorded. They were also listed under Oboe.

Is this the Anthony Pay of the Mozart Concerto recording?? (great playing!)
