A Selmer metal clarinet, or the King Sterling silver one Roger Garrett has,
are a cut above the run-of-the-mill metal clarinet, but probably still not
worth what a wood one would be. Noblets are pretty nice, too, if you find
one. I enjoy having MY metal clarinet, but would never use it for a
serious performance. Henri Selmer was not afraid to use HIS, though, as
Mr. Galper has related to us.

If you have to mic a saxophone, the rest of the band is too loud.
