the problem can be a numerous thing
first off whether the alternate trill fingering Bb witht he trill keys
is in tune or not has nothing to due with the problem.
Check the tuning of your C the c# then d if tyhese are all the same and
in line with the rest of your tuning, check your low E.
Now if everything is fine except E and BV the problem will tend to be a)
the pad is not seated corectly or it is not closing completly. or b)
there may be a crack just above or below the tone hole.
Becasue it is playing shapr because the air flow is being released to
high in the bore and it is not travileling all thwe way through the
instrument.

Another place to check is you 4 left hand trill keys for leaks your
throat A and G# and the tone hole directly above fuirst finger F3 on the
upper key piece. Then also check your register key pad.

If yourhaving problems telling if theres a leak try this.
Take one section at a time close all the holes. or ex. on the upper
joint finger a c then with the other hand block off the bottom tenon and
blow smoke through the instrument. If any leaks thats what the problem
is. Repeat for the bottom joint by fingering a e and close off the
bopttome tenon w/ your hand and blow smoke through it.

As far as your sping goes if it doesnt have enough tension no amount of
oil will make the key function properly. You will a) need a new spring
or b) need to adjust the tension.
TO adjust the spring tension on that key you ill first have tyo remove
the C/f an Eb/Ab keys. then VERY VERY VERY carefully bend the spring at
a point closte to the post in the oposite direction it is pulled to be
plaved on the c/f key. in this case you would benmd it toward thed
right hand keys
