I am a junior in high school and we are going to be playing 1812, this year,
and I was wondering if anyone had some tips to play this piece other than
practicing it every day. I know that I will need to learn double tounging
for the last part, but I am not sure how to go about this. Are there any
resources other than sneezy.org about this subject.

You won't need to double tongue for the last part. It is called burst
tonguing (by Stanley Hasty), and you would be surprised at how fast you can
tongue only a couple of notes. Burst tonguing is what happens when you have
a couple of notes (just like the 1812 ov finale). A longer passage would
possibly need double tonguing (or just a quicker tongue).
A favorite tonguing exercise of mine (and Bob Spring) is page 22 of the
Langenus part 3 method.
