There is no need to use double tonguing on this piece. I have played it
several times and I do not have a "fast" tongue. Are you sure that your
single tonguing is properly executed and that your fingers and tongue are
properly synchronized. Weaknesses in either area can deceive you into
thinking that you cannot tonque quickly enough.
