I believe the Armstrongs are of the same design as Artletys, both coming
from UMI. If this is so, the main "characteristics" would be horrendously
sharp throat notes and generally thin, shrill tone. Actually, the very
latest model Artley 17S (WITHOUT the adjustment screw on the left pinky C
key, but no change in model designation) is much improved, but I'd rather
have a Bundy any day.
