Hello all! I may have asked about this before (I remember a great idea
from Lorne Buick about silly putty on the sides of the mouthpiece) but I'm
wondering about that old bugaboo, an air leak, ie. where a student has a
hiss of air escaping on either one or both sides of the mouth at the
corners when playing forte. I have an excellent student who has such,
despite a fairly-centered embouchure, and am wondering about other
teachers' experiences with this. Thanks!
