Ahhhh....I've got it now. Yes, that one PLAYED better than my wood R-13 -
that's what got me onto the greenline. But some R-13's also play better
than others......I guess I should have been more clear in saying that the
R-13 Greenline is every bit as good as its wood counterpoint......same
variations and same quality. Sorry that wasn't as clear - and thanks for
reminding me of that story.....you have a good memory!

Since that momentous (sp?) occassion, I have tried out Greenlines
regularly - and I do notice a difference in the way they blow.....I can't
really describe it too well other than they have a different resistance to
them......not negative....just diffferent. But......once you get used to
that feel, the wood one would feel a bit odd I think........just
preference. Certainly not a difference in sound that one could hear well.
